E-Mail For Shopping

If you do any shopping on the internet I find that it is a good idea to use a separate e-mail address for this activity.  The reason being that it isn’t too long after you order something that the advertisements, surveys and junk mail start arriving.

TIP:  Go to Yahoo, MSN or Gmail and set up a new e-mail account. There are free and take only a few minutes to set up. Now when you purchase something on the net, use your new address and you will be able to handle all your business activities from there and as a bonus be able to check the status of your order from any computer.

NOTE:  If you are using Outlook, Outlook Express or Mail, it is a good idea to have an on-line account in case your computer crashes or you are traveling.  That way you can still contact your friends and family from any computer.
