Using Paste Special
If you have ever copied a recipe or part of some document from a web site into a word document or an e-mail only to find that it is locked in a box that will not let you format it to your liking. This may help.
TIP: Copy whatever text you want by highlighting it and using your favorite way of coping it to the clipboard. Select where you want to place the text by inserting the cursor. On the toolbar, click on Edit and then Paste Special. When the dialog box opens, click on Unformatted Text and then click OK. (In Word 2007, on the Home tab, click on the down arrow under the clipboard and select Paste Special)
NOTE: If you are going to paste into an e-mail, first use Paste Special to put your unformatted text into Word, WordPad or Notepad then Copy and Paste from there into your e-mail
