Quick Tip

016-2007

Use Desktop on your Taskbar to navigate anywhere on your computer.

TIP:  Right click on the Taskbar, a menu appears.  Click on Toolbars and a sub menu appears.  Click next to Desktop to put a checkmark.  Now click outside of the menus to close them and you will see Desktop on the right hand side of the Taskbar next to the Notification Area. Above and to the right of the word Desktop you will see >>.  When you click on >> a menu will appear with your whole desktop on it.  As you point to each item you can double click to open it or hold your curser on it and a sub menu will open to let you select another file or folder.

Note:  Create a new folder on your desktop, name it Icons, and drag all the icons on your desktop into that folder.  Now when you open the Desktop on your Taskbar and point to the Icon folder, a sub menu will appear with all of your icons.  This cleans up your primary Desktop but still gives you access to all of your files and folders.
