Choose How To Open Your Programs.

TIP:  Right click on any Shortcut Icon.  Click on Properties, then the Shortcut Tab.  Look down the page until you see Run, then click on the dropdown arrow.  Select one of the following: Normal Window, Maximized (full screen), or Minimized (into the Task Bar).  Click OK and close all windows.  The next time you click on that Icon, the program will open to what you selected.
