Mouse Pointers

Are the mouse pointers hard for you to see or are you tired of looking at the same ones?  Here is a tip on how to change them.

TIP:  Go to Start > Control Panel:  Click on the Classic View. Click on the Mouse Icon.  When the Mouse Properties window opens, click on the Pointers tab.  Under Scheme you will see a small window with a drop down arrow.  When you click on the arrow a menu will appear letting you select several different schemes.  When you have selected one you like click Ok and the scheme will become the default.

You may even create your own scheme by highlighting each item in the Customize window and then clicking on the Browse… button.  A Browse window will open with a multitude of icons from which to make a selection. Click the icon you want to use for the item you selected. A sample will appear in the lower left side of the window.  If you are happy with the selection, click OK.  Under the Customize window you will see a box that lets you Enable a pointer shadow. When you have the icons you want selected click OK to close the window and set your selections as the default.
