USE YOUR PICTURES TO BUILD A SCREEN SAVER

If you store pictures in the My Pictures folder in your computer, you can use what amounts to a slide show of those photos as your screen saver.  Here is quick and easy tip on how to do it.

TIP:  Start by right-clicking an empty spot on your desktop. From the drop down menu choose Properties. Click on the Screen Saver tab inside the Display Properties dialog box.

In the Screen Saver pull-down menu, choose "My Pictures Slideshow." Browse to the folder that holds the pictures you want to use.  Next Click on Settings to make additional adjustments. You'll be able to turn on or off transition effects between pictures, how frequently they change, the size of the pictures, and lots more.

Click OK when you're done tweaking the settings and adjustments, and then Press the Preview button to see what your screen saver looks like. Underneath the Screen Saver pull-down menu, you can set the time of inactivity before Windows will turn on your screen saver. When all of the settings are to your liking, click Apply.
