Change Your Home Page

A home page is the default page that you see when you open a browser whether it is Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Firefox or Google Chrome.

TIP: Search the Internet for the page you want as your home page. When it is on your screen go up to the toolbar and click on Tools. From the drop down menu that appears click on Internet Options. In the window that appears select the General Tab. The first item on that tab is the Home Page. Here you can type in or copy and paste the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) for the page you want. It is easier to just click on the Use current button and the URL is automatically entered for you. Click on Apply, OK and your done. Now when you open your browser the page you selected will now be your home page. You may change it whenever you like.

NOTE: As with other features in windows there are several ways to do things but this seems to be the easiest for novices. If you don’t see Tools on your browser, right click on the tool bar area and from the drop down menu that appears click on the Menu Bar.
