Greetings Computer Club Members:

Thank you, to everyone who attended our meeting last Tuesday at the Joslyn Center, we had a very good attendance

Thank You also to everybody who stopped in at the Health Fair last Thursday at Taylor Hall, hopefully we will all avoid the Flu this year.

Be sure and check in at the front desk and register your guest.

Look for Pat Jones and Bernice Goh, who will be selling the tickets in the Padua Room.

The winner must be present to collect.

Be sure to sign in each time you attend. If you have not attended at least three meetings per quarter your name may be removed from our roster.

If for some reason you find you will be absent for awhile, please let the ladies at the front sign-in desk know, and we will keep you on the roster.

SEE'S CANDY CERTIFICATES

Orders will be taken at Computer Club meetings on November 18, and 25.

Candy Certificates will be delivered at Club meeting December 2.

Retail value of Certificate is $15.00.  You pay $13.00.  Club earns $1.40
per Certificate

Everyone wins.  No limit on number of Certificates you can purchase at this
fabulous rate.

(The club earns slightly less this year because of increased cost of
certificates, but Board has

agreed to continue member's discount of $2.00 -- lucky you.)

CLASS SCHEDULES

 

Introduction to Computers                   November 19   10 AM-3 PM   $15   Lunch included

 

Windows Basic XP                  December 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 9 AM TO 12 PM             $15.00

                                                                      Space is still available in all classes

Though classes are paced for seniors, all adults are invited to participate.

All classes are held in the Bob Binder Classroom of the annex at Joslyn Senior Center 660 N. Mountain Ave. Claremont

You can sign up for classes at the reception desk of the Joslyn Senior Center or call for information about class Schedules at 909-399-5488.

The Friday Workshop and Computer Lab will be closed on November 28th for Thanksgiving Weekend

It will be Business as usual this Friday November 21.

Steve Holst and his team of Technical advisors will be looking forward to greeting you in the lab this Friday from 1 to 4 pm. In the Joslyn Senior Center Annex 660 N Mountain Ave.

They welcome all of the challenges you bring to them along with whatever goodies you wish to share.

Please follow the guidelines which can be found on the club website.

Everyone is welcome to the workshop, but Claremont Senior Computer Club members always have priority.  Please be sure to sign in with one of our friendly greeters who serve to direct you for service. Remember, membership is free, and you are invited to attend our weekly meetings.

Tutors are available to assist members who need to sharpen their computer skills. 

 

Joy Huguley is available to help in the Music Room if you wish to convert music from a record to a CD or other format.

Please provide your own equipment such as a CD or Thumb Drive to transfer your music to take home with you.

 

If you are new to the Computer Club, be sure and drop in at the lab on Fridays, Check in with the greeter and she will be happy to give you a tour.
